Does the main network always need to be 2.4 GHz, or only when connecting the product?

After connecting, you can switch the network back to 2.4 and 5 GHz.

During the connection process, your phone must be on the same Wi-Fi frequency as your Duux device in order to start communication. This communication is nothing more than the login details for your router. Once your Duux device has these login details, it will connect to the network and communication between the phone and the device is no longer needed.
