The water level is too low. Top up water in the water tank.

This device works through evaporation. This type of humidifier operates without producing visible mist. Therefore, no mist will be visible.

Check whether the hygrostat setting is higher than the current humidity level. Otherwise, the device will not humidify the air.

We would like to ask you to check the following:

– Have you refreshed the water? Refill the water tank daily with fresh water.

– Is the filter dirty? Please refer to chapter 4 (Maintenance) of the Motion manual.

The carbon filter should be replaced after 3,600 hours (approximately one year).

We recommend cleaning the carbon filter every month using a hoover.

We do not recommend cleaning the discs in the dishwasher. Please refer to this page for instructions on how to clean them.

The silver ion cartridge should be replaced after six months.

Clean the water basin once a month with a descaling tablet or a mixture of cleaning vinegar and lukewarm water (1:10). Rinse and dry everything well, so that no acidic odour is left behind.

The silver ion cartridge reduces the growth of bacteria and mould in the water tank.

Below is a step-by-step plan for the best way to clean the blue discs:
1. Dismantle the discs, as explained in the manual.
2. Then place them in a container with a mixture of cleaning vinegar and lukewarm water (1:10) or use a decalcifying tablet.
3. Leave it to soak and then carefully brush over it to loosen it.
4. Rinse and dry thoroughly so that no acidic odour is left behind.

We recommend doing this once a month.
